• What drives you personally? Are your passions met through your work with Heraeus Electronics?

I am responsible for developing strategic directions for my product line, requiring me to effectively engage and convince stakeholders to support my plan while remaining open to constructive feedback.

I am passionate about the challenging and engaging nature of my work at Heraeus. I find great joy in celebrating successes with my team.

• What makes it interesting to work at Heraeus Electronics? 

My role at Heraeus is incredibly dynamic, serving as the vital link between external markets and internal functions. I thoroughly enjoy the unique opportunity to communicate globally and collaborate with colleagues across different continents. Being at the forefront of product realization and seeing solutions brings immense satisfaction. This role is truly fulfilling and allows me to thrive in an environment when no day is ever mundane.

• Can you briefly describe a recent project or achievement that you feel especially proud of?

In the quest for a one-size-fits-all material solution, me and my team realized that each customer has unique application permutations necessitating slight tweaks to secure business. In this case, we made a rapid product modification for a key customer. They were surprised our customized material exceeded their expectations. This step forward positively impacts their ability to meet KPIs. It was massive in keeping their project on track. The overwhelming positive feedback left me fulfilled, and my team overjoyed knowing we can contribute meaningfully.

• How do you feel your skills and contributions have positively impacted your team or Heraeus Electronics?

Heraeus Electronics has an environment that is highly professional and has high standards. I am grateful for the organization’s patience in allowing me room to develop. The high expectations are countered by a willingness to provide space as long as improvements are continuous. I have benefitted greatly from the unselfish sharing of knowledge from our many Heraeus global experts.

Similarly, my way of paying back is to share generously my experiences with my peers and team.

Whenever asked, I strive to simplify difficult topics, provide insightful analysis, offer realistic solutions, and share valuable contacts.

• What do you believe sets you apart as a valuable team member or leader?

I resonate with Heraeus ‘Open Space, Open Minds’ principle. We have a fantastic leadership environment where teams are empowered to succeed together. From my observation, my leadership style is not dissimilar to my peers, where we embraced a consultative approach and open communication. When making decisions, everyone can voice their diverse opinions. Once collective decisions are made, we stand together in support, embodying a culture of inclusivity and understanding. I believe our trusting culture encourages standout solutions to develop, making leading teams attractive.
